UpperHand Poker

Upper Hand Poker is an innovative and exciting project. This project involves traditional poker, but with a unique twist that adds a new dimension to the game.

Upper Hand Poker's development process involved an iterative design process using Figma to create and refine the website's user interface. By utilizing Figma, the team collaborated effectively, resulting in a polished and professional-looking final design. To ensure the project progressed smoothly and was completed on time, daily standups were conducted to discuss progress and identify any blockers. The combination of Figma and daily standups proved to be an effective approach for developing Upper Hand Poker.

The backbone of the project is a Flask backend, which provides a robust and reliable foundation for the application. Flask SocketIO library is utilized to enable WebSocket events, allowing for seamless communication between players. This real-time communication feature enhances the gaming experience, making it more immersive and engaging for players.

The front-end of the application is developed using Tailwind and React with Vite, providing a modern and intuitive interface. Redux is integrated to manage state and control information sharing, adding an extra layer of sophistication to the application.
